2011 ATAA Jr. Program Mail Matches
The 2011 ATAA Mail Match will take place during the 14 day period of February 1, 2011 – February14, 2011.
THE RULES:
All athletes in an Alberta Jr. Program that has a Parent Club affiliated with the Alberta Target Archers Association are eligible to compete.
Competition categories will be defined by Sex, Age and Equipment Type (i.e. Female Cadet Recurve).
The following age categories are eligible to compete.
Per FCA Rules:
Junior class, a person must be 20 or younger on December 31 of the current year
Cadet class, a person must be 17 or younger on December 31 of the current year
Cub class, a person must be 14 or younger on December 31 of the current year.
Pre-Cub class, a person must be 12 or younger on December 31 of the current year
Peewee class, a person must be 9 or younger on December 31 of the current year. to compete.
*****All age categories are eligible to compete in either Recurve, Compound or Barebow category.
THE PROCESS
1) The Jr. Program will have their athletes shoot 2 score cards during the 14 day period.
2) These score cards must be done with Parent/Coach supervision and have a completed witness sign off on them.
3) Each scorecard consisting of 10 end of 3 arrows each must be shot consecutively.
4) If more than 2 scores are shot during the 10 day period, the athlete and/or coach may choose the best 2 score cards for submission.
5) At the end of the 14 day period a Parent/coach from the Jr. Program will compile the scores of all athletes in the Excel spreadsheet provided below and email all the results to junior-director@ataa-org.ca no later than 1 week after the completion of the mail matches.
6) All the results will be tabulated and results will be published online and Certificates will be mailed to the Club Jr. Director for awarding

Kindly fill out the spreadsheet using the formats demonstrated so that sorting can be made easy. Also, please provide the ATAA Jr. Director with all the contact information for the club program so that certificates can be mailed.
