Next Casino will be Held June 2nd & 3rd, 2013 at Casino Calgary
The next ATAA fundraising casino is being held at Casino Calgary (1420 Meridian Road NE), on Sunday and Monday June 2nd/3rd, 2013.
The casino is the single biggest source of funding for our association. It can also be an interesting and fun experience.
I am looking for volunteers for 36 shifts. Travel expenses will be reimbursed for out-of-town volunteers.
I have an immediate need for volunteers for “key positions” (General Manager, cashier, banker, count room supervisor). These positions are “interchangeable” for now but require a background check as the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission require names 60 days in advance (end of March).
I will also require volunteers for other positions (chip runners and count room staff). These can be confirmed later.
I will be collecting volunteer forms at the Provincials in Lac La Biche on March 22/23.
Please indicate which role and shift you may be interested or wish to avoid and I will try to accommodate.
Shifts available on either day are 10:30am-7pm, 6pm-close(2ish) for cash cage/chip runners, and 10 pm-close(3ish) for count room staff).
Please pass this volunteer request along to your clubs – sending personal requests to those who are benefitting financially from ATAA grants. Have volunteers fill out the accompanying form and send me a scanned copy. I will also need an email address for general communications.
I will assign the specific role but please let me know your preferences for role and shift.
